Introducing Ariel Jenifer Rose

I had the most amazing pleasure of Photographing the Birth of (who turned out to be) Ariel Jenifer Rose, Her Mummy rang me mid Contraction at about 1 in the afternoon to tell me she was in Labour, After running around like a headless chicken I was ready to go.

I turned up and we thought this was going to be quick she was already 6 minutes apart. We were then to find out that this lady's contraction would then be all over the place for a fair amount of Hours :)

Her Son was more than happy with his new toys to keep him entertained :)

We did reach a stage In Labour when everything went a bit quiet and the excitement had died down a little as impatience grew.
Mummy tried walking which helped, Sitting which didn't, swearing at daddy which helped (but not with the contractions) and Lying down which didn't :)

After too many hours to remember, Mummy came downstairs and that is when things really started happening, Contractions went from every 7 minutes to every 3 minutes, The midwife was rung.

Approximately 10 minutes after the Midwife arrived Mummy started pushing and pushing and pushing, First went the waters then in a flash baby started to appear.

I have never seen anything like it, Something so {gross} but so so so wonderful all at the same time, In the heat of it, you do not even register what you are seeing, this amazing little baby being born.

Mummy {and Daddy} did so so well, she did not even swear when she was pushing!

And out came this beautiful little baby!

IT'S A GIRL!!

Thank you too this Family for allowing me to be there on your very special day - I don't think I've stopped crying yet :*(
